Our History

Years 90

ProjetoAlumínio® — A story of vision

Every great company is born from an idea. ProjetoAlumínio® was born from a vision.

1990s — The beginning of everything

It was in the 1990s that Jefferson and Luiz decided to turn experience into opportunity.

On one side, Jefferson, a specialist in window and door systems with deep technical market knowledge. On the other, Luiz, a former regional manager at a multinational company, with solid management expertise.

This partnership gave rise to ProjetoAlumínio® — a company driven by knowledge, entrepreneurship, and the desire to do things differently.

The first steps were taken by trading window and door systems, roofing sheets, metal sheets, and conductor cables. From the very beginning, however, the company demonstrated something that would become part of its DNA: the ability to constantly evolve.

The portfolio expanded to include acrylic and PVC fabrics for awnings. New markets and new challenges followed. The first sale of aluminum coils for food containers opened doors to further opportunities, followed by supplying aluminum sheets to the naval sector — broadening horizons and consolidating expertise across different industries.

Years 2000

2000s — The moment that changed everything

The first sale of ACP for architectural facades marked a turning point.

From that moment on, ProjetoAlumínio® began a cycle of expansion and started to conquer Brazil. The company opened its first branch in Bauru (SP) and expanded its presence with strategic units in São Paulo (SP), Vitória (ES), Curitiba (PR), Recife (PE), and Caxias do Sul (RS).

Greater presence, closer connections with the market, and an increasingly strong position in the industry.

2016

2016 — From distribution to industry

With a solid track record and a forward-looking vision, ProjetoAlumínio® took a decisive step. The company inaugurated ProjetoAlumínio® Industry, beginning its own manufacturing operations in Brazil.

It marked the start of a new phase: more technology, greater quality control, and increased innovation.

Three years later, the company further expanded its production capacity by implementing its own coating line, reinforcing its commitment to excellence, efficiency, and industrial autonomy.

2026

2026 — A story that keeps growing

Today, ProjetoAlumínio® celebrates a journey marked by constant evolution, innovation, and market trust.

With over 31 million m² of ACP commercialized, ProjetoAlumínio® continues to expand, increasing its manufacturing facility by more than 15,000 m².

Numbers that represent far more than growth — they reflect credibility, partnership, and the strength of a brand that has helped shape contemporary architecture in Brazil and around the world.
